Ms. Ross earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Gregory Ahern in the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Relations Division, where she gained valuable insight into courtroom procedure, judicial reasoning, and the importance of thorough case preparation. Her experience working within the court system provided her with a practical understanding of how disputes are evaluated and resolved.
Before attending law school, Ms. Ross received her Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Communication, from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her undergraduate studies reflect a longstanding interest in advocacy, equity, and effective communication—skills that remain central to her legal practice.
After college, she worked as a legal assistant at a Social Security and Disability law firm, where she assisted with case management, client interaction, and preparation of legal materials. This role allowed her to work closely with individuals navigating complex administrative processes and reinforced the importance of organization, diligence, and responsiveness in legal representation.
Ms. Ross also volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem with the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Office, advocating for the interests of children involved in court proceedings. Through this volunteer work, she developed an appreciation for careful investigation, balanced judgment, and the responsibility attorneys carry when representing others.
